International Relations

International Relations (IR) is the study of the interactions and relationships between countries and other actors in the global arena, including international organizations, non-governmental organizations, and multinational corporations. It encompasses the analysis of political, economic, social, and cultural exchanges that influence global governance and diplomacy. IR examines how states behave towards one another, the causes of conflict and cooperation, the impact of international norms and laws, and the role of power dynamics and security issues. Ultimately, it seeks to understand and explain how globalization, diplomacy, and international cooperation shape world affairs. The field incorporates various theories and methodologies to assess and predict state behavior and the outcomes of international interactions.
