Human Rights

Human Rights are fundamental rights and freedoms to which every individual is entitled, simply by being human. These rights are universal, inalienable, and indivisible, meaning they apply to all people regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, religion, or any other status. Human Rights include the right to life and liberty, freedom of expression, the right to work and education, and the right to participate in cultural and political life, among others.

They are often codified in international treaties and declarations, such as the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, which outlines basic rights that should be protected globally. Human Rights serve to promote dignity, equality, and respect for all individuals, and they play a crucial role in fostering peace, justice, and social progress. Violations of human rights can lead to significant social unrest and conflict, prompting national and international efforts to protect, uphold, and promote these rights through legislation, advocacy, and education.
